The Fibonacci sequence is a mathematical sequence of numbers that perfectly explains certain spatial relationships that occur in the natural world, and so is a key tool in Sacred Geometry.
It might sound complex, but although the sequence has had a profound effect on the way we explain the Universe, it is simple to work out. Each number is the sum of the two previous numbers. Starting with zero, then:
0 + 1 = 1
1 + 1 = 2
2 + 1 = 3
3 + 2 = 5
5 + 3 = 8
8 + 5 = 13
13 + 8 = 21
21 + 13 = 34
And so on into infinity. Numbers that belong to the sequence have a magic of their own and are relatively easy to work out.
What follows is an investigation into the qualities of certain numbers. Although every single number has significance, it's true to say that the first series of single digits, because they are the "building blocks" of all other numbers, are the most important, symbolically.
